I debated long and hard over the appropriateness of me posting this here. But since I’m a strong supporter of the cause, I’m willing to do what it takes to help them out, so if this helps, then it’s worth it. If donating to a good cause or the opportunity for a piece of commissioned art doesn’t appeal to you, then feel free to skip over this post. ^.^;
The Race for the Cure is coming up on Sunday and I’m wanting to raise more money for it. So in an attempt to encourage donations, I’m ready to put my creative skills to use!
Donate to the Race for the Cure by 8:45am, Sunday, May 10th, and get one of the following (based on your donation amount):
$5……doodle [AB/Words-style doodle without color]
$15…..digital drawing [1] [2] [3]
$25…..jewelry (w/in-house materials) [1] [2] [3]
$35…..3d artwork [1] [2] [3]
None of the money will go to me – every penny goes directly to the Susan G Komen foundation, thus why I’m directing people to donate on that page. Make the donation, then shoot me a message in any variety of ways to let me know what you’d like. I’ll then start working on the pieces one at a time, in the order that they came in.
Doodles are quick and easy for me to do. I can scan and email them or send them to your house in a regular envelope.
Digital drawings will be done by hand on paper, then scanned, lined, and colored. The finished picture – in its highest resolution – will then be emailed to you.
Jewelry pieces will be made using materials that I have in-house, but don’t let that deter you! I have a ton of supplies to choose from and work with. I’ll then send the piece to you in whichever manner is most convenient for the both of us.
3D artwork will take the longest amount of time, since I can’t multitask with them. The finished picture will be emailed to you, once again, in its highest resolution.
I know times are tough right now, and donating to a cause without anything to show for it is hard to justify. So I’m offering what I can to make this worthwhile! Help the cause and come away with a piece of original, commissioned art. 😀
